Why is Minecraft Lagging on Linux with Shaders?

I have a laptop with dual operating systems—one SSD for Windows and another for Linux. I play Minecraft with around 60 mods alongside Complimentary Shaders Reimagined and the Alacrity texture pack. On Windows, everything runs super smooth at about 60 frames per second, but for some reason, when I switch to Linux (using the Prism launcher), I only get around 6 fps, even though I'm using the same mods and configuration. Can anyone shed some light on why there would be such a drastic difference in performance?

It sounds like your laptop might be switching to the integrated GPU instead of using the dedicated one. Try checking the graphics settings to ensure that Minecraft is set to use the discrete GPU. If you’re not sure how to do this, I can help you figure it out!

How do I check if I'm using the right GPU?
