I've noticed that my PC idles at around 40°C using an AIO water cooler. Is this temperature normal? Just for context, before I installed Windows, the temperature was about 26°C. Any insights would be appreciated!

Before you installed Windows, what was your PC doing? If it was just posting, the CPU was under minimal load, so it's normal for it to be cooler then.
It feels like there's some info missing here. What's your setup?
That idle temp seems fine to me! You should also check how the CPU performs under load. That could give you a better idea of whether everything's working as it should.
Honestly, I'd suggest investigating the 40°C idle temp a bit more. It might not be dangerous, but it's worth understanding what’s going on.

I have a Ryzen 7 7800X, a 5060 Ti, and a TT 360 AIO cooler. Hope that helps!
