Help Me Choose Which PC Component to Upgrade for Better FPS in Battlefield 6

I'm looking to upgrade my PC for better frame rates in Battlefield 6. My current setup includes an Intel i5 10400F processor, an RTX 2060 graphics card, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM. Since I want to improve my gaming experience, I'm considering upgrading either my CPU or GPU, but I'm on a tight budget. I've been eyeing the Intel i5-14600k CPU and the RTX 3070 (or 3070ti) GPU. Which should I upgrade first to see a noticeable improvement in performance and frame rates?

I would recommend focusing on the GPU. Just curious though, what’s your upgrade budget looking like? I heard the 9060XT 16GB is around $350, which could be a good choice if it fits in your budget.

That's interesting! In my country, the 9060XT is priced way higher than the 3070, so I’m leaning more towards that. Thanks for the suggestion!

Definitely go for the GPU upgrade first. The RTX 2060 really struggles to keep up, especially at 1080p with high settings, usually maxing out around 60 fps. Upgrading to something like the RTX 3070 will give your FPS a nice boost!

Yeah, I agree! You might want to monitor your GPU and CPU usage with tools like MSI Afterburner or Nvidia Shadowplay to see just how hard they're working. But with an upgrade to the GPU, you'll definitely notice a bigger performance jump.

I can sometimes reach around 80 fps with my 2060, but I'm not sure if that's the GPU or CPU holding me back. Thanks for the advice!

Before you dive into upgrades, can you share the models of your motherboard and power supply? It's important to ensure they're sufficient for any new components.

Good point! I'm using an MSI MAG B560M BAZOOKA motherboard and a GIGABYTE P550B 550W (80+ Bronze) PSU. I know it's on the weaker side, so I would need to undervolt for any new card to work until I can upgrade it.
