I recently built a PC with the following specs: Intel i5-14600KF, B760M-A motherboard, 16GB DDR4 3200 RAM in single channel, an RTX 5070 with 12GB VRAM, and an 850W Gold PSU. I'm getting around 130-150 FPS in PUBG at 1080p with ultra settings, but occasionally, my FPS drops to between 70-80. Could this be due to my single channel RAM, a lack of bandwidth, or are my specs just not up to par for ultra settings?

Using single channel RAM can definitely affect your performance, especially in a game like PUBG where it can impact frame rates. I suggest you try switching to high settings instead of ultra. It can make a noticeable difference without sacrificing too much visual quality.
You should check if your RAM is 3200 CL16 or CL22. Also, have you enabled XMP in the BIOS? That could help optimize your RAM speed and performance.
I think mine is CL22, so maybe that's affecting it.
Single channel RAM is a large part of the problem here, particularly affecting your 1% lows in FPS. Switching to dual channel could potentially boost your performance by around 10%.
Yeah, single channel is definitely impacting your performance, especially during intense moments in-game. It’s a significant factor to consider for getting smoother gameplay.

True, but remember that ultra settings often aren't worth it anyway. You might not see a huge quality difference, yet you'll get better FPS.
