Concerns About i7 14700k Performance Degradation

Hey everyone! I've been using my i7 14700k since July 2025, having upgraded from an i5 13400f on my Gigabyte B760 DS3H AX DDR4 motherboard. Before the upgrade, I made sure to update the BIOS to the latest version available at that time (F14C). For the past few months, my settings have been stable, set at PL1 = PL2 = 188W, with an IA VR voltage limit of 1.425V, Intel's default settings disabled, Gigabyte's spec enhance enabled, and a simple DVID undervolt of -0.080V. However, today when I tried playing Cyberpunk 2077, the game kept crashing after a few minutes. I ran an OCCT CPU + RAM test, which resulted in a lot of errors. I attempted to lower the undervolt, but that didn't help either. What can I do to stabilize my setup? Is reverting to Intel's default settings the only solution? Just for context, I'm pretty confident that my RAM isn't the issue since I'm using DDR4 instead of DDR5.

I suggest starting with the default settings to troubleshoot before diving into other potential issues. If you did a BIOS update before swapping CPUs, it's unlikely that you're facing a degradation problem.

Okay, I tried reverting to defaults but now I can’t even enable my RAM XMP profile at 4000. I attempted to set it to 3600, but that didn't work either. Any tips on what might be wrong?
