Why is my phone overheating since moving to Canada?

I recently moved to Canada and have noticed that my Realme GT7 Pro phone is overheating even when it's just sitting idle on my desk. Back in Italy, my phone performed well without overheating, even while gaming at max settings, but now it's running at around 70 degrees Celsius. I initially thought it might be due to the temperature of my new room, but it's actually cooler than my old room in Italy, which was about 5 degrees hotter in the summer. I'm curious if anyone knows how to fix this overheating problem. Also, I can't find Canada as an option in my phone settings, which seems odd.

I totally get the frustration! It might be related to network connectivity issues. If you're in an area with poor 5G coverage, it could strain your phone trying to connect. Maybe try switching to 4G or LTE for a bit and see if that helps?

That's interesting! But even on Wi-Fi, it still heats up. I thought it might be the mobile network affecting it, but it seems like it's happening regardless.
