How Do I Set Up My PCIe Cables for My New GPU?

I'm building my first PC and I just got a 9070xt (Watercolor Reaper) from Microcenter. It has two 8-pin PCIe slots, but my power supply only came with one 8-pin to 8-pin cable. It also has a 12V-2x6 to 2x6+2 pin cable. Can someone guide me on how to connect these properly?

Just a heads up, if you're planning to do some heavy gaming or graphical work, it's best to get a proper 8-pin cable for the second PCIe slot eventually. That way, your GPU gets all the power it needs without any issues. But for now, the setup I mentioned should work fine!

First off, congrats on building your PC! You'll need to use both PCIe connections on your 9070xt for optimal performance. Since you have one 8-pin cable, you can use it for one of the slots. For the second slot, you can make use of the 12V-2x6 to 2x6+2 pin cable. Just connect the 2x6 part to your GPU and the other end to your power supply. Make sure it's all secure, and you should be good to go!
