I just built a new Windows 11 PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, 16GB of RAM, and an RTX 3060. When I press the power button, everything powers on, but it doesn't boot properly. If I hold the power button to turn it off and then turn it back on, it usually boots up after about 15 to 30 seconds. Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this issue?

I had a similar issue where my computer wouldn't wake from sleep. I had to do a full power cycle by shutting it off and unplugging it, then holding the power button for 30 seconds, and even removing the CMOS battery for a bit. After that, it booted fine! You might want to try this method.
Since this is a new build, it could be any hardware issue causing the boot failure. Check if the RAM is properly seated, inspect the motherboard for any shorts, and ensure the PSU is supplying enough power. It might help to simplify by removing all components except one stick of RAM and trying to boot up from there.
Have you checked if everything is correctly plugged in? Sometimes it's just a loose connection. Also, consider updating the BIOS if you can—this may help with boot issues. If you haven't done it already, that could be the fix you need!
It sounds like you're experiencing a RAM training issue. Many Ryzen CPUs, especially the 7000 series, undergo RAM training when powered on. If the system is forced off during this process, it can create BIOS problems. It might be best to allow the system some time to finish training before trying to force a restart. Just let it sit for a minute before turning it on again.
Thanks for the tip! I’ll check all the connections and see how the BIOS update works out.
