Hey everyone! I recently got a refurbished iPhone 12 after losing my old iPhone 8 and Samsung Galaxy in a car accident. Now I'm trying to log into my Apple ID, but it's asking for authentication from either my lost iPhone or my phone number. Since I had to order a new SIM card for a different number, I'm stuck. Fortunately, I still have access to the email associated with my account, and I can find receipts for my music purchases. Is there any way for me to regain access to my account without my old phone number or device?

You might want to check with your mobile provider about getting a new SIM card with the same number linked to your Apple ID. Once you have that set up, there should be an option on the login screen saying "I don't have the device" or something like "Can't get to your devices?" This will send a code to your phone number for verification.
I actually just went through something similar. I had to get a new number with my SIM, and they didn't let me choose the old one when I replaced it, which made recovery really tough.
