I've been using Pop OS with two monitors and usually keep my setup on 24/7, turning off the monitors at night. However, this morning my second monitor isn't being recognized anymore. It's not showing up in display settings, and I remember encountering this issue before but can't recall the fix. I tried deleting the monitor's configuration file and ran an update, but I still have the same problem. I'm wondering, if I unplug the working monitor and only connect the one that isn't detected, will restarting the system help it recognize the disconnected monitor by default? Any suggestions?

If your second monitor isn't being detected, a common troubleshooting step is to ensure that all cables are securely connected. Sometimes it's just a matter of checking that everything is plugged in properly. You don’t even need to unplug the working monitor for this—just make sure the cables for the non-working one are snug!
You might want to check if your graphics settings have changed. Since you mentioned using a GeForce GTX 1660, ensure that the Nvidia drivers are fully updated. Try unplugging the monitor that's working and plugging in the problematic one by itself, then restart your computer. This could force it to recognize the monitor. Also, make sure your monitor is set to the correct input source.

Thanks for the advice! I'll give that a try and see if it recognizes it when it's the only one plugged in.
