Hey everyone! I'm currently using Veeam Backup & Replication Community Edition for my 4 servers that run on VMware ESXi. I've been really impressed with how well it works, but the Community Edition limits me to 10 workloads, and I definitely need more than that. I'm on the lookout for alternatives that are either cheaper than Veeam, one-time payment options, or even free solutions. Any recommendations? Thanks a bunch!

Don't skimp on your backup solutions—they're crucial for your business. You might want to consider Veeam Essentials, which provides 20 instances for around $1784. Honestly, protecting your data is worth the investment.
Making sure your backups are solid is non-negotiable. If you can afford VMware, you can likely afford Veeam. Skimping on backup solutions can lead to catastrophic data loss, and that's a conversation nobody wants to have with their boss.
You could technically run a second Community Edition if you want, but be aware that using multiple CE licenses on the same environment might not be compliant with the terms. I'd suggest looking into that before going forward with it.
I've been using msp360 for my backups—it's super easy to set up and restoring is a breeze. Another option to keep in mind!
Checking out Nakivo Backup & Replication could be a smart move; they even offer a community edition. Also, Synology Active Backup is another solid option if you're looking for alternatives.
