Troubleshooting Boot Issues with My PC

I'm having trouble getting my PC to boot when any drives are connected. I have three drives, and the one with Windows 10 on it stopped working. I tried using a bootable flash drive along with a blank hard drive, but whenever either of them is plugged in, I can't get any display, although I can access the BIOS without them. Any ideas on what might be causing this?

It sounds like there might be a few things going on. First, make sure to list all your components, as that can help others troubleshoot better. It’s possible your GPU is in the wrong slot. Also, consider that your power supply unit (PSU) could be failing and not providing enough power when drives are connected. If you're comfortable, you could test your PSU with a multimeter, but I’d suggest getting a pro to look at it if you’re unsure—don’t open the PSU unless you know what you're doing; those capacitors can give you a nasty shock.

Given that you can access the BIOS with no drives plugged in, it seems like your motherboard is functioning fine. You mentioned trying different GPU slots, which is good. It's also worth checking if your power supply is enough for everything you've got. Since you're using a GTX 1660 with an i7 6700k, a 600w PSU seems decent, but if it's old or faulty, it might not handle the load properly. Lastly, recreating your boot USB was a smart move—have you tested it on another system to ensure it's working?
