Why Can’t I Transfer Apps to My SD Card on Galaxy Tab A8?

I recently got a new SanDisk 1TB SD card for my Galaxy Tab A8, but I'm having trouble transferring apps from the internal storage to the SD card. While I can easily move photos and videos without any issues, attempting to transfer apps causes the device to restart unexpectedly. Is this a glitch, or could it be a bug?

Generally, apps are not designed to run smoothly from an SD card. If you’re encountering crashes, it might be best to keep important apps in your internal storage. However, streaming apps like Netflix and Prime can usually be stored on the SD card without issues.

There are a couple of things that could be at play here. First, your device’s operating system needs to support transferring apps to an SD card. Additionally, the apps themselves must also allow this feature. If either of these conditions isn't met, you won't be able to move them. You could try forcing it through developer options, but be careful as that might lead to other issues with your apps or the system.

It might be a good idea to check if your SD card is functioning correctly. Try testing it to rule out the possibility of it being fake or defective, even though you bought it from a store.

Have you considered moving just a few apps at a time instead of all at once? Sometimes transferring smaller batches can work better, as it helps avoid crashes or performance issues.
