I'm looking at the ASROCK B650M Pro to pair with a Ryzen 5 9600X and a 9070XT. Given the crazy prices on RAM lately, I opted for a budget motherboard. I've heard mixed reviews—some say it's not great. Can anyone share their experiences with this motherboard?

Just a heads up, there have been some reports of issues with Ryzen CPUs burning out on ASROCK boards in the past. I remember a fix was issued a while back, but it didn't seem to solve the problem for everyone, even with the newer BIOS updates. Just make sure you do your research before buying!
Those were mainly reported with the older B8XX series motherboards.
I've used the B650M Pro for over a year without any hiccups. A couple of friends also have it running smoothly with higher-end chips like the 9700X and 9800X3D. So, I would say it's pretty reliable!
I think you're referring to the Pro RS version? It's actually a solid board for the price. Many consider it one of the best options in the budget range.

How long ago did those issues occur?
