I'm currently in the market for a new GPU and can't decide between the 5070 and the 9070XT. I play a lot of games, mainly at 1080p, and sometimes I adjust settings to low depending on the game. I'm also interested in starting to stream my gameplay, so I'm wondering if that will affect my choice. My PC is about six years old with a 2070 Super, and it's been feeling slow and choppy lately. Instead of upgrading my current GPU, I'm planning to build an entirely new PC. Any advice would really help!

For competitive gaming at 1080p, I don't think you'd go wrong with either GPU—they're both more than capable. But if you plan to play at 1440p in the future, the 9070XT definitely has the edge due to its better specs.
I agree! I've seen many recommendations for the 9070XT, so it's good to know there’s a consensus.
The 9070XT is generally better in terms of performance and VRAM, but the 5070 has some cool features like DLSS 4 and future driver support. If you value performance more for competitive gaming, go for the 9070XT. Both cards will handle 1440p pretty well, though!

Thanks for the info! The 9070XT is getting a lot of love here, so I'll definitely keep it in mind.
