I just got an AMD Radeon RX 580 2048SP and noticed that the fans never spin, even with the AMD software installed. Is this typical behavior? My GPU's temperature usually stays around 50°C. I'm curious if I should be concerned about the fan speed being at 0 RPM. Any advice?

50°C is a cool temperature for a GPU, so the fans likely won’t turn on unless it needs more cooling. You're in a good range!
It sounds like this is pretty normal! Many GPUs don't kick their fans on until they hit around 60°C. You might want to run a stress test or play a game to see if the temperature goes up enough to trigger the fans.
Yes, that behavior is normal. Those fans are designed to conserve power and noise when the GPU is cool, like when you're at 50°C. Setting a custom fan curve can help if you want them to spin earlier.
So if it's hitting 72°C and the fans still aren't on, that’s okay? Just making sure!
I actually tried that for about 10 minutes, and the temp went up to 72°C without the fans turning on. Is that still normal?
