I'm currently using a 3060 Ti for 1440p gaming and am considering upgrading my GPU now before expected price increases next year. I plan to build a new PC late next year, but if I can save some money on a GPU now and use it in my current setup, that seems like a smart move. I'm thinking about the 5070 Ti for its VRAM and future-proofing potential. What do you all think? Any recommendations? Thanks, and I hope everyone's New Year's Eve was great!

Have you ever seen component prices actually go down consistently? I doubt they will, so brace yourself for that.
5070 Ti or 9070 XT seem to be the way to go!
I was considering the AMD RX 9070 XT or ASUS NVIDIA 5070 Ti, but I'm waiting until 2026 to build my PC. I wonder if I'm thinking too far ahead. What's everyone else's take on buying a GPU now?
Absolutely, prices for GPUs have been rising lately. I bought the 9070 XT last month for $599, and now it's already up to $650! So if you can snag one now, it’s a smart move.

Honestly, if you're on the fence, it's better to buy one now rather than risk higher prices later.
