Receiving Annoying Messages to Remove My iPhone from Find My

I'm getting a series of annoying messages from different numbers asking me to remove my iPhone from the Find My feature. The first message was sent from an iCloud email, and since then, I've received about four messages from different phone numbers. It's frustrating because sometimes these messages end up in my spam folder and I miss them. Is there any way to find out who is behind this or to stop them from contacting me?

If you sold or traded in your iPhone, just go ahead and remove it from your account; it should be a straightforward fix. But if it's lost or stolen, definitely ignore these messages.

These messages are probably just a scam attempt. The best way to deal with them is to ignore them; they typically move on after a while.

Just keep reporting these messages as spam. They’ll likely give up after a while. And seriously, don't remove anything from Find My unless you absolutely want to. I recommend holding off for now.

If you lost your phone or had it stolen, these people want to get the iCloud lock removed, so definitely do not do what they want. Keeping it locked is a good way to protect yourself.

It sounds like someone is trying to take over an old Apple device linked to your account. I suggest logging into your iCloud account through a web browser to see if you can find more information there about any devices associated with your account.
