I recently found an NVMe SSD from a previous build, but I've forgotten the password to access it. I'm looking to use this SSD for a new build and don't care about any data on it. When I turn on my computer with the SSD connected, it doesn't prompt for a password but tries to connect to WiFi instead, making everything slow and laggy. How can I reset this SSD to factory settings?

One simple way is to reinstall Windows and format the drive during the installation process. Just plug in a USB drive that has Windows on it and boot from that, no need to adjust anything on the SSD beforehand!
Another option is to boot your system while the SSD is connected. If Windows recognizes the drive, you can right-click on it in File Explorer and select format. If it doesn’t show up there, head to Disk Management, find the partition, and erase it from there. That should work even without a password.
