I'm planning to stick with Windows 10 for as long as I can, but I'm concerned about missing out on a free upgrade to Windows 11 in the future. Do I need to upgrade before Microsoft stops supporting Windows 10 to take advantage of the free upgrade? Or will I still have the option to upgrade at no cost even after support ends?

Most likely, the upgrade will remain free for a while since Microsoft wants to increase their market share with Windows 11. However, it's really up to them, so keeping an eye on their announcements is a good idea.
Yeah, as long as your Windows 10 PC is running the latest version and meets the hardware requirements, you should still be able to upgrade to Windows 11 for free after support ends. Just check Windows Settings for updates and check out Microsoft's upgrade page for more info!
Just a heads up, a lot of people may end up needing hardware upgrades for Windows 11, so if that’s the case for you, it might be better to make that move sooner than later before everyone starts rushing to upgrade.
