I was doing my annual deep clean of my PC, and I noticed that one of the wires from the 24-pin connector of my Seasonic PSU got loose. I can't seem to find where it belongs. If anyone could help me figure this out, I would really appreciate it!

Could you share a picture of the wire and connector? That would make it easier for us to assist you!

Sure! Here’s the picture: https://preview.redd.it/df17t06wh7ye1.jpeg?width=2160&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6c8f4667a019ddea137378026667b94cec14e2ef. I'm having trouble finding any schematics online.

It sounds like that wire could go into a socket that currently has no other wire plugged into it. Just check for any open crimped pins.

But a lot of sockets have double wires. It can be confusing since they look really similar!

It should connect to a spot where there's an open or empty crimped pin. Make sure you double-check that there aren't any neighboring pins that might also have double wires!
