Can I Use 6+2 PCI-E Cables for My GPU Instead of Buying 8-Pin Cables?

I recently purchased a TUF Gaming 850W power supply along with an ASRock 9070 XT Challenger graphics card, but I've run into a little issue. The power supply didn't come with two 8-pin cables. Is it okay if I use two 6+2 PCI-E cables instead? Or do I need to buy separate 8-pin cables?

Yep, you can totally use 6+2 PCI-E cables! Those 6+2 cables are designed to combine to make an 8-pin connection, so they're just fine for your GPU.

That's a relief! Thanks for clarifying. I'm just a bit anxious since this is my first build.
