I've been trying to get a refund for my Pixel 7a due to battery issues, and it's been a frustrating experience with Google support. I reached out to them on October 22nd, provided all necessary codes for verification, and was told that operator confirmation was needed to process my refund. Since then, I've had no updates after multiple follow-ups. After several weeks and a couple of reassurances from different support representatives, I'm still left in the dark. It's been months now, and I feel completely ignored. What can I do to escalate this situation or get the refund I need?

Try reaching out through Twitter. Tagging Google's support accounts can sometimes get faster responses than traditional customer service channels.
You should stop talking to the first-level support agents and ask to speak with a supervisor instead. They usually have more authority and can escalate your issue properly.
Have you considered doing a chargeback through your credit card? If you haven't received any help from Google, that might be a viable option to get your money back!
I feel you! It's like they just pass the buck and ignore the issue. Unfortunately, it seems only Google can really resolve these kinds of problems.

That sounds like a solid plan! A chargeback might be the push they need to actually look into your case.
