How to Fix a Corrupted File on My SD Card?

I'm having a tough time with a corrupted file on my micro SD card. I can still access everything else on the card, but this one file just won't go away. I've tried using CMD, Power Shell, and Chkdsk to delete it, but no luck so far. I've backed up all my other files and attempted to format the card, but I keep getting errors. I really want to avoid using third-party software because I'm worried it might make things worse. Honestly, I'm considering just buying a new 1TB SD card if I can't fix this. Any suggestions?

If the tools from sdcard.org aren't working for you, it might be time to accept that the card is likely damaged. You could try doing a quick format first, and if that fails, a full overwrite format might be your last option.

Have you checked if your SD card is a genuine 1TB? Sometimes counterfeit cards can cause issues. Try using H2testw to verify it. You might need to deal with that corrupt file before you can run the test, though.
