Is it safe to plug my computer and monitor into a UPS?

I'm new to this whole setup, and I have a question about my uninterruptible power supply (UPS). I already have my PC connected to it, but I want to know if it's okay to plug my monitor into the same UPS. Also, should I connect the UPS directly to a wall outlet or is it better to use a power surge protector? A friend mentioned that the UPS has surge protection, so I'm leaning towards using the wall outlet, but I want to make sure I'm making the right choice.

Yes, you can definitely plug your monitor into the UPS along with your PC! I've got my entire setup, including speakers, connected to mine without any issues. Just make sure that the total wattage of all the devices doesn’t exceed what the UPS can handle.

You should be fine as long as the total load on the outlet doesn’t exceed the outlet’s rating. Just keep an eye on how much power you're drawing from both the UPS and the other device!

It's perfectly fine to plug your monitor into the UPS! I have mine set up like that too for when the power goes out. Just keep an eye on the wattage to ensure it's not too high. You can check the UPS display to see how much power your devices are using when they're all running.
