Hey everyone! I'm diving into my first PC build and could really use some advice on parts. I've had a PC before back in 2019, but I've never built one myself. I hear prices are a bit crazy right now, and there's so much new tech that I'm not familiar with.
I'm aiming to create a powerful machine that can handle gaming (especially big titles like Star Citizen) and CAD work with programs like Fusion and SolidWorks. My budget is around €2,000 but I can stretch it to €2,500 if necessary, and I'd love for this build to last a long time without needing too many upgrades.
Here's what I'm looking at so far:
- Ryzen 7 7800X3D (I'm okay with downgrading if needed)
- Radeon RX 9070 XT
- GIGABYTE B850 Eagle WiFi 6E Motherboard
- Crucial T710 SSD 2TB PCIe 5.0 x4 Gen 5 NVMe M.2 (it claims to read at 14,500 MB/s and write at 13,800 MB/s, but I'm worried about compatibility with the motherboard)
- Acer Predator Pallas II DDR5 6000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) CL32 (It's quite pricey, so should I consider cheaper options?)
- MSI MPG A850G PCIe 5 850W 80 Plus Gold Full Modular PS
- NZXT Kraken Plus 360 - AIO Liquid Cooling for the CPU
With the case included, the total comes to about €2,500. Any suggestions for cheaper parts that would still perform well for gaming and design tasks would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Here’s a PC part list that might be closer to your needs: [link]. I selected components based on availability in Germany to give you a clearer picture of pricing. It should help keep costs down while still giving you solid performance for editing and gaming.

This looks great, thanks a lot! I’m actually in southern Spain; do you think I can still use this website for pricing?
