Help! Fresh Windows Install Stuck on ‘Why Did My PC Restart?’

I recently put together a new PC for Christmas and everything seemed fine at first. I got into the BIOS, enabled EXPO 2, and then proceeded to install Windows 11 using a 24 GB USB stick. I made my selections for language, time, and currency, but now it's stuck on a screen that says 'Why did my PC restart?' I've been trying to troubleshoot for over an hour and can't find anything helpful. I can't even access the BIOS anymore; it just boots straight to that screen, even when I press keys like F12 or F10 at startup. I'm really in need of some guidance here!

You should definitely be able to get into the BIOS. Have you tried booting your PC with the USB stick unplugged? That sometimes helps bypass issues during the Windows installation.

I did try that, but it still goes back to the same 'Why did my PC restart?' screen.

If you can access Windows eventually, try to locate the dump files in C:WindowsMinidump. These files might give us clues about the crash. Zip them up and upload them to a file-sharing site. If you don't find any, follow the guide on creating a small memory dump to help us troubleshoot better.

To troubleshoot further, you might want to try turning off the power supply and performing a CMOS reset. It's important not to mess with EXPO settings until Windows is fully installed for the best stability. Once that's done, consider booting from the USB again to reinstall Windows and format the drive to start fresh. Also, updating your BIOS could be crucial since recent updates reset the TPM, which might be causing your login issues.
