I'm experiencing an issue with using the Tab key on my Windows 11 system. Whenever I press Tab in applications like Discord, Steam, or even in my browser, it randomly highlights different buttons which I find distracting. This UI navigation feature wasn't an issue for me before, so I'm not sure how to turn it off or if there's a setting that needs to be adjusted. Can anyone help?

It sounds like this is normal behavior for the Tab key, which, for many applications, is designed to navigate through buttons and options. Have you considered that it might just be the way your software is set up now? If you're frustrated with it, maybe we can look into changing some settings.
Yeah, that’s how the Tab key functions outside of text fields. It’s been this way for ages. But if it’s causing issues while typing, let me know, and I could help you figure out how to remap that.
If it's bothering you, I completely get that! Some apps have settings to adjust keyboard navigation. You might want to check the accessibility options in Windows or in the specific application settings.
