I'm in the process of building my first PC and started off by buying a video card and monitor. I got a PCI-E 4GB POWER COLOR RX 550 DDR5 LP AXRX550 for the graphics, and I assume the monitor is just a standard HDMI, so it shouldn't be too complicated. I actually thought I could just plug the video card into an older PC, but it seems the BIOS is too outdated to recognize it properly. For now, I just want to run Monster Hunter GU on Yuzu, so I don't think I need anything too powerful. Oh, and I'm based in Brazil where prices for components can be pretty high. Can anyone tell me what other parts I still need and offer some recommendations?

It's unusual for the BIOS not to read an RX 550. What motherboard are you using? You can check that in Windows easily with a quick Google search to find out. It's definitely worth figuring that out first!

Hmm, someone must have been misinformed then. I have a DH61BR motherboard, G32662-203, but it doesn’t list the manufacturer. Although the system does recognize it, the screen keeps going black even though the cooler seems to be working fine.
