I'm looking to replace my aging 1080 Ti, which has served me well for 8-9 years, but I'm worried it could fail at any moment, even though it seems fine for now. My budget is tight (around 250-300 euros), and I primarily play at 1080p on a 144Hz monitor. I don't mind dropping to 60fps, but I want more GPU power since games like ARK Survival Ascended and Marvel Rivals are really bottlenecking due to my current GPU, especially without overclocking. I want to improve performance and have a backup GPU for peace of mind. I've found a few options:

The RTX 3080 is definitely the most powerful option here. If you can grab that one, you won't regret it! It's a great upgrade from your current card.
But would the 10GB of VRAM become an issue if I want to upgrade my whole rig in the future?
