Is It Safe to Use My Laptop Charger After Spilling Isopropyl Alcohol?

I accidentally spilled some isopropyl alcohol on my laptop charger. I'm wondering if it's still safe to use now. I think the alcohol may have seeped into the plug connectors, but it's dried up. What should I do?

As long as it's fully dried and you're using a high percentage of isopropyl alcohol, you should be okay. Just give it a few extra hours to ensure everything’s evaporated completely. If you're worried it got into the sealed part of the cable, you might want to disassemble it and let any remaining alcohol evaporate before using it.

Ok! I will be doing that.

If the spill was just on the exterior, you should be fine. But if it got into the interior or plug, that's a different story. Did you let it dry properly?
