I'm planning to upgrade my graphics card from a GTX 1660 SUPER and I'm looking for options that are a solid improvement while keeping the price under 400€. My current setup includes a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU, a Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC motherboard, 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM (with plans to increase to 32 GB), and a 550W power supply. I'm using an Acer 1080p 144Hz monitor. I'm considering cards like the RTX 3060, RTX 4060, RX 6700 XT, and RX 7600, but I'm unsure which one offers the best value and future-proofing. Any recommendations?

With a setup like the 5800X, you’re likely to be GPU-limited for 1080p at 144Hz. The RX 9060 XT usually gives the best performance boost over your current card, plus the extra VRAM is a smart move for the future. The RTX 4060 might be efficient but it lacks the same performance for the price.

Thanks for the detailed breakdown! I'm definitely leaning towards the RX 9060 XT now. And yes, I’ll check the GPU length because I might need to change the case to fit it better!

You can't go wrong with the RX 5600 or RX 7600, especially if you're considering the RX 9060 XT. Just make sure to check the GPU's length against your case to ensure it fits well!

If you can swing a little extra dough, consider saving up an additional 200€ for the RX 9070. It’ll give you even better performance and longevity compared to the other options.

You definitely should check out the RX 9060 XT with 16GB of VRAM—it's a great choice for your budget. It can handle both 1080p and 1440p really well and packs in all the latest AMD features like FSR 4 and Radeon Boost. It's a no-brainer for what you're looking for!
