How reliable is 2x32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM with Ryzen 9000 X3D?

I recently built my system and I'm feeling a bit anxious about potential RAM stability issues that might appear after the return window closes. For context, my build includes an ROG Strix X870E-H motherboard, Trident Z5 Neo 2x32GB DDR5-6000 CL30 RAM, and a Ryzen 9900X3D processor. I'm curious about your experiences with this RAM kit or other 64GB kits with similar specs. How has stability been for you? What motherboard and CPU combinations did you use, and if you faced any instability, did it show up right away or later on?

I went for Corsair Vengeance 6400 CL32 and simply dialed it down to 6000 CL28 with my 9800X3D on an Asus B650+. No issues at all after that adjustment!

I’ve got a Kingston Fury 64GB 6000 CL30 kit paired with my 9800X3D and it's on the QVL—no issues whatsoever! I only used EXPO for the setup, no extra tuning needed.

You're feeling nervous about RAM stability, huh? Trust me, 6000 CL30 is usually a solid choice for AMD setups, especially on the AM5 platform. I’ve been running a similar configuration with a 9700X for a year without a hitch. But to ease your mind, you might want to run Memtest86 for a few days to test things out.

Honestly, a lot of this comes down to luck with the silicon lottery. It can vary per setup. If you find your RAM can't boot or is unstable, try scaling back the speed or loosening the timings. Running stress tests like Memtest can help you figure this out.

I can’t speak for the 9000 series, but my 7000 setup has been stable for nearly three years. My RAM is dual-rank and was a snap to get working right.
