Help! I Dropped a Sewing Needle in My Monitor, What Should I Do?

I accidentally dropped a sewing needle on my desk, and it somehow fell into my Dell SE2422H monitor. It's completely out of sight now, and I can't see or hear anything when I look inside with a flashlight. I'm really worried about it causing damage, but I don't have the tools or experience to take the monitor apart. Any advice on how to handle this situation would be really appreciated!

I'm curious how you managed to get a sewing needle into a flat screen. I don't see how it could get inside unless there’s an opening somewhere. Just a reminder to check all angles!

It does have some openings at the top, but I might have misread the situation. Here's a little pic I have for reference!

If your monitor is still working fine, I might suggest leaving it alone for now. It could have landed in a spot where it won't cause any issues. Opening it up can be risky, especially if you’re not equipped for it. Better safe than sorry!

Thanks for your input! I just checked, and the monitor seems to be working perfectly fine for now. Maybe it's best to just let it be for a while.
