I'm considering an upgrade from my GTX 1650 4GB and I'm torn between two options: the MSI Gaming RTX 5060 8G Shadow 2X OC for $367.15 (currently on discount, typically around $500) and the Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Gaming OC for $390.23. I play at 1080p with most games set to medium, maybe pushing a few to high settings. My budget is no more than $400. The RX 9060 16GB is priced too high for me (over $530), so it's not an option. Here's a quick look at my current setup: Corsair CX 750M, Ryzen 5 5600, Zotac Gaming GTX 1650 4GB, and 32GB RAM at 3200MHz. What do you think I should go for?

Upgrading from a 1650 is going to be great no matter which card you choose! If you prefer Nvidia, I'd recommend going for the RTX 5060 since it's usually a bit faster in most scenarios and is also cheaper. Plus, it consumes less power than the RX 9060. I've done my research, and I think you’ll be happy with it!
I think you're mixing up the 5060 with the 5060 Ti, which holds its ground better in gaming performance. Don't count the 5060 on top too quickly!
The RX 9060 XT generally performs better overall, but performance can vary depending on the games you play. If you're not into titles like CS2 specifically, then the RX 9060 XT could be your best bet. Just check the performance comparisons for your favorite games to be sure!

I have to disagree with you on that one. The 5060 actually has fewer PCIe lanes, which isn't optimal for an 8GB card.
