Hey there! I'm thinking about upgrading my RX 5700 XT because it's really loud and I want a bit of an upgrade. I've found some RTX 3060 Ti models priced around €177 and RTX 3070 models between €215 to €225. The higher power consumption of the 3070 has me wondering if it's actually worth the extra cash. I'm currently using a Full HD 144Hz monitor and I don't plan on upgrading it anytime soon. I'd really like a GPU that lasts a while, especially with how prices and availability are looking. Any thoughts?

Depends on your situation, I guess. To put it in perspective, in my country, a cheap lunch for two is around €40. For a great GPU that you'll use for years, I'd just go with the 3070. The 3060 Ti isn't going to wow you for 1080p gaming, especially with the latest demanding titles. If you're not upgrading anytime soon, the 3070 makes more sense.
If you can, try to snag a 3070 Ti! I’ve seen them under €200 where I live. Better performance for a similar price is hard to pass up.
Totally! The 3070 is definitely a solid choice and it's worth spending a little extra for it.
Consider looking at the RX 9060 XT 16GB. It’s pricier, but future-proofing is key nowadays with games pushing limits on 8/12GB cards.
