I'm assembling my first PC and having some trouble. The machine powers on—lights are on and fans are spinning—but my monitor isn't displaying anything and shows 'VGA No signal.' The monitor worked fine with my old PC, so I'm confused about what might be wrong. I have attached a picture of the GPU slots and another showing the connections at the back. What should I check or change?

It looks like you might need different cables or a converter. From the first photo, I see HDMI and DisplayPort on your GPU that aren't connected. In the second pic, you're showing a VGA and DVI connection, which suggests you might be trying to use two monitors. To fix it, just connect your monitor using HDMI or DisplayPort cables if they have those ports. Just a heads up, there's only one HDMI port on your GPU.
Make sure you plug your cables directly into the GPU. You might need an HDMI cable or a suitable adapter for your setup.
