I'm trying to decide between getting the RTX 5060 Ti with 8GB or spending a bit more to get the 16GB version. I'm aiming to play games at 1440p and I'm uncertain if the difference in VRAM makes a significant impact. Is the 16GB really worth the extra cash?

Yeah, nowadays, having more than 8GB of VRAM is almost a must for decent 1440p gaming. If you can swing the price difference, definitely get the 16GB.

Go for the 16GB version if you want it to last. The 8GB won’t age well, especially as games get more resource-intensive. You might also find that it handles higher settings better now, which is nice for future-proofing your setup.

Honestly, if you’re gaming at 1440p, you should definitely go for the 16GB. The 8GB is going to be a bit limiting and you’ll likely run into performance issues down the line.

For 1440p resolution, 16GB is practically essential. Games are getting more demanding, and 8GB might struggle with higher settings in the near future. Just do yourself a favor and get the 16GB if you can.

Skip the 8GB option. Just get the 16GB. It's the better investment for gaming at 1440p now and in the future. You won't regret it!
