Can’t Access BIOS on My New PC Build – Need Help!

I just built my first PC in a while, but I'm having trouble getting it to boot up. When I turn it on, the fans spin, but I don't get any display on the monitor. I can't even access the BIOS. I've double-checked that all the power supply cables are connected properly, but I'm still having no luck. The motherboard (MSI B850 Gaming Plus) has a red and orange light on. Someone suggested that it might be a RAM training issue, so I removed the RAM to see if it would at least boot, but no success. Any ideas on what I should try next? Here are my components: MSI B850 Gaming Plus, Ryzen 5 9600, 32 GB Crucial RAM, and MSI GeForce 5070.

Those LEDs should have labels next to them explaining their status. Also, keep in mind that you can't access the BIOS without any RAM installed. Try using just one stick of RAM in the second slot, and give your PC around 10 minutes to boot up; sometimes it takes a little longer than expected.

You should check what the POST failure LEDs are indicating. The motherboard manual will usually tell you what those lights mean. It sounds like there might be an issue related to the CPU or RAM. If you're using a Ryzen 5 9600, make sure your BIOS is up to date, as the motherboard may not support that CPU without the latest firmware.

I checked the manual, and a red LED indicates a CPU fault, while yellow points to a RAM issue. There shouldn't be an orange light. The BIOS version on your motherboard might not support your CPU, so I suggest using the "Flash BIOS" button to update it without needing a working CPU. Also, don't forget to clear the CMOS if you haven't already!
