I recently upgraded my PC components, but I'm noticing that my Ryzen 5 9600X is running really hot. While it idles around 55-60°C, it sometimes spikes up to 85-90°C under load. I've heard mixed opinions about whether these temperatures are normal. I'm concerned about damaging my CPU and think it could be due to my older case, which is a bit cramped, or my cooler, which is the stock cooler from my old Ryzen 7 5700. I even tried running the PC with the case open, but the temperatures didn't change. I've ordered a new cooler that should arrive soon, but I'd love to hear if anyone else has experienced this or has any advice.

Hey! First off, what's your CPU cooler? That could definitely be a factor in those high temps!

Thanks for the heads up! I just updated my post to mention that it’s the stock cooler from my old Ryzen.
