Hey folks! I'm facing a frustrating problem with my Asus ROG STRIX B550-A GAMING motherboard. When I connect the Ethernet cable, it works for a few seconds but then disconnects and disables itself. It sounds like your issue might be related to the Intel i225/226 LAN chip on your motherboard. A lot of users have reported similar problems with these chips. If that's the case, consider returning your board for one that doesn't use the Intel 2.5G LAN. It could save you a lot of headaches!
