Why Does My Computer’s Memory Keep Filling Up?

I've been experiencing a strange issue where my computer's memory fills up every couple of weeks, and I can't figure out what's causing it. I have 128 GB of RAM, yet when I check the task manager, it only shows around 15 GB in use. I've shared links to my task manager and RamMap for reference. If you need more information, just let me know!

Have you thought about how often you reboot your computer? Sometimes, temp files or processes can build up and slow things down. Also, make sure your disk isn't almost full, which could cause issues. If this was Linux, I’d mention adjusting ‘swappiness,’ but I'm not sure if there’s a Windows equivalent.

You might want to check if Windows is actually using that memory or if it’s just cached. If you're not getting any out-of-memory errors, your OS might just be using memory for caching to speed things up. It's normal, but if there are lags, keep an eye on it.

Just a thought, but shutting down your computer at night could help with these memory issues. That said, it doesn't really explain why the memory is filling up in the first place. What applications do you usually run? That might give a clue.
