I'm trying to set up Windows 11 on my newly built PC but I'm running into some serious hiccups. I have a USB stick with the Windows 11 installer, and when I enter my product key, I reach a point where I see the disk and partition options. However, I'm unable to delete any partitions, and it keeps telling me that my disk needs to be converted. Just yesterday, it allowed me to clean the disk but wouldn't let me convert it. Today, when I tried to delete the partitions, I got an error code. Now, when I try to clean the disk again and convert it, I get an I/O device error. I wish I could show you what's happening with photos, but that option isn't available. I've also made sure my BIOS is set to UEFI. Can anyone suggest what else I might try? I'm really at my wit's end here! My motherboard is a B650 Gaming X AX V2.

Have you tried using the repair option to access the command line and then using Diskpart? It can be helpful for these kinds of issues.
I attempted that, but when I ran the command, it said a RAID-5 volume needs to be selected for the operation to succeed. I tried to specify a different disk, but it just told me that no volume is selected. Maybe I misunderstood the steps? Could you clarify?
