Experiencing Micro Stuttering in Games—What Could Be the Cause?

I'm really frustrated right now! My PC has this annoying micro stutter (or travel stutter) while playing every game; it's such a hassle when the frame rate suddenly dips from 1% down to 60 or even 30 before jumping back up. Here are my specs:
- GPU: RTX 5070 Ti
- CPU: R7 7800 X3D
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Eagle X870
- RAM: 32 GB DDR5 at 6000 MHz (with EXPO enabled)
- Storage: 1 TB SSD PCIe 4

I can't upload video evidence of the problem since that option seems closed. However, I'd really appreciate any help you can offer. The games I'm playing include:
- Arc Raiders (it didn't have issues at first, but now it's a problem)
- Marvel Rivals
- Wuthering Waves (particularly bad here)
- Where Winds Meet (this happens almost every 30 seconds while I'm moving)
- Expedition 33 (not super noticeable, but I can tell)
- Silent Hill 2 Remake

I suspect the common factor is that these games use Unreal Engine 5, but I'm not entirely sure if that's the issue. After spending a fortune on this build, seeing this kind of problem is really maddening!

I totally get how frustrating stuttering can be! With your specs, it shouldn't be a problem. If you haven't tried it yet, switching to a different driver version or lowering some graphic settings could help. Also, check your background processes to ensure nothing’s hogging resources while you're gaming.

Yeah, I tried lowering the settings for a bit, and it seemed to help. Worth a shot!

Thanks for the tip! I’ll look into my drivers and give that a shot!
