I recently set up a Microsoft Business account and bought a domain from GoDaddy. After successfully linking the domain in the Microsoft admin settings, I changed my user account's primary alias from the default .onmicrosoft.com to my new domain. However, after this change, I was signed out and am now facing a frustrating issue: I can't log back in and keep getting an error message stating that my account doesn't exist. I've tried logging in using both the new domain and the original .onmicrosoft.com suffix, but none of them work. It's been more than a day, and I'm unsure how to regain access to my account. What can I do?

It sounds like you might still be facing some alias conflict. Have you tried logging in just with the original .onmicrosoft.com email? Sometimes even if you’ve changed things, the system takes a bit to catch up. You can also try resetting your password using the Microsoft account recovery options, in case that helps. And if all fails, contacting Microsoft support could be your best bet; they could help sort out the domain linkage issue.
First, check if you had any other admin accounts set up. If not, it gets tricky since you can't just revert back if something goes wrong with the alias. When you swapped the alias, ideally, you should still be able to log in using the .onmicrosoft.com version. Make sure the part before the @ is correct; it should match exactly with what was initially set up.
