What’s the Best GPU for My New Build on a Budget?

I just upgraded my CPU from an i7-6700 to a Ryzen 5 5600, and the change is noticeable! Now, I'm looking for a graphics card. I have a couple of options in mind: should I go for a used RTX 3070 for about $200, or a new RTX 5060 for $350? I'm thinking of reselling whichever I choose in 3-4 years for around $150. My total budget is about $200-$250, but I might stretch it if it seems I can sell the card later. Here's my current setup: GTX 1070 8GB, Ryzen 5 5600, B550M-A motherboard, and 2x8GB of 3200 RAM. What do you think? Any other recommendations?

You should definitely consider the 9060 XT if you're looking at AMD options. It has 16GB of VRAM and you can likely sell it for around $200 a few years down the line. Plus, new ones should fall between $350-$380. If you're stuck trying to stay under $250, check out used 3070 Ti or 2080 Ti options too.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll keep an eye out for those. Do you think the 2060 is worth considering too?

The RTX 5060 is a solid choice! It's actually comparable to the 3080 when you consider overall value. It pulls a lot less power and you'll get better driver support for the newer features. I'd skip the VRAM hype; the 5060 will serve you well.

If you're considering used options, a 2080 Ti could be a great fit. You might find some ROG Strix models in your price range and it has 11GB of VRAM, plus it can be overclocked significantly. Just keep in mind that DLSS is going to perform better on the 30 series cards.
