I recently purchased a new monitor and I noticed a red dot on the screen. Is there a way to fix this issue, or should I consider replacing it? The store is quite a distance away for me, so I'm hoping for some repair tips.

If it's just a single stuck pixel, you might still have a chance to fix it without returning it. Check out a tool like jscreenfix. It can help unstick pixels by flashing colors rapidly, which may wake it up! If that doesn’t help, contacting the manufacturer could be your next best step if your monitor is still under warranty.

I had a similar issue, and that tool worked great for me! Just give it a try before you consider returning it.

Where exactly is the dot located? If it’s in a corner and you're okay with it, you might just get used to it, but central dots can be more annoying. Also, what model is your monitor? Sometimes specific models have built-in repair features.

It's in the top right corner, and it's pretty noticeable when I'm gaming.
