I'm looking for advice on a new motherboard that can support my existing components—an RTX 3070 Ti, Ryzen 7 5800X, and DDR4 3200 RAM. Ideally, I want a board that will allow for future upgrades to a better CPU, GPU, and even DDR5 RAM when I have the funds available. I'm also planning to get a new case and move my whole setup, so I think it makes sense to upgrade the motherboard at the same time. Is this process easy or complicated? What are my options, especially considering I want something compatible with both DDR4 and DDR5?

There is actually a new hybrid motherboard that was just announced recently. It supports both DDR4 and DDR5, but it's only compatible with Intel processors. This means that if you do decide to upgrade, you’ll need to buy new RAM as well. So it might be best to stick with your current setup for now and wait for RAM prices to drop before upgrading.
Unfortunately, with the AM4/AM5 socket system, you have a choice between an AM4 motherboard that supports DDR4 CPUs or an AM5 motherboard that works with DDR5 CPUs. They don’t mix, so it's all or nothing.
You might want to go for a budget motherboard now, which you can sell later when you're ready to upgrade. The reason is that upgrading to DDR5 typically means you need a whole new system setup including motherboard, RAM, and CPU. Buying them together is usually recommended, even if you plan to upgrade slowly over time.
My current motherboard is the N7 B550. Any recommendations for upgrades?
