What do I need to know before upgrading my PC’s graphics card and CPU?

Hey everyone! I'm new here and looking for some advice on upgrading my PC. Currently, I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 graphics card and a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-13400F CPU. I'm considering upgrading to a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB for the graphics card, and possibly moving to an Intel Core i7 or i9 processor. Since this is my first upgrade (the PC is prebuilt), I'd love to hear if there are any other components I should consider upgrading as well. By the way, I have a 600W 80+ Gold certified power supply. Let me know if you need more info!

Be careful; you might not see a huge jump in performance with just a basic upgrade. Generally, you want at least a 50% boost in performance when upgrading. It might be wiser to invest in a higher-tier GPU, like the RTX 5070 or better, rather than trying to upgrade everything at once.

You're doing fine with your current processor, but going for the RTX 5060 Ti is a good idea. If you're into online gaming, you could also consider stepping up to the hypothetical 14600KF for an even better performance boost. It should be enough for most games without any issues.

If I go with the 14600KF, will I need to upgrade anything else?

Honestly, you might not need to upgrade your CPU right now. Putting your budget towards a better GPU would be a smarter choice. However, you should also think about upgrading your power supply since 600W can be a bit low these days, especially with newer Intel CPUs. If you can share details about your prebuilt setup, that would help a lot!

I can send over a link to the exact prebuilt model I got if that helps!
