I recently installed a brand new 5080 graphics card in my PC and went about installing the latest drivers. I briefly looked away, and when I came back, my computer was completely powered off. Now, whenever I boot up my PC with the 5080 installed, I can sign into Windows, but it freezes right after and then crashes, attempting to repair itself. I'm looking for advice on how to fix this issue!

You might want to try using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) to wipe whatever drivers are currently installed. After that, download an older version of the NVIDIA drivers; it could resolve the issue.
If your system is crashing even after trying different drivers, there could be something corrupted in the operating system. If you have a USB drive available, consider creating a Windows installation on it from another computer. A fresh Windows install might fix the problem. Also, think about whether the 5080 could be defective since your PC runs fine with the old GPU.
This sounds like a faulty GPU. Check the size of your power supply; it's crucial for the 5080. Also, ensure you properly uninstalled any old drivers before putting in the new card. If everything checks out, then it might indeed be time to look at a replacement.
